My Favorite Parks (Includes Spoiler Alerts)
- The infamous “Canonball Loop” (in its early days) produces lacerations on riders’ bodies. The reason: early testers of the ride lost their teeth. Teeth were stuck to the walls of the slide and new riders were scraping up against the teeth.
- The Man in the Ball” ride was meant to go down the mountain via a PVC piping track. When tested, the ball went off track and took the occupant across a highway and into a swamp.
- “Code Brown” meant that a customer shat in the pool.
- The Battle Tanks” ride features mini tanks you drive which shoot tennis balls at each other. Some customers covered the tennis balls with gas and lit them on fire and shot flaming balls at each other.
- The “Kayak Experience” ride electrocutes one customer.
- The “Wave Pool” was so dangerous they called one section the “Death Zone” and the lifeguard for that area was called the “Death Chair”.
- Action Park “was a place where death was tolerated.”
